System requirements

Server

Database server is either a company network server or a dedicated server.

- Recommended memory 256 MB RAM
- Microsoft SQL-Server or Oracle database

The database server must be equipped with a backup functionality. Backups are done automatically every day from the complete database and every half hour from the transaction log.

Workstation

- Pentium processor, 166 Mhz or faster, 128 MB memory
- Microsoft WindowsNT / Windows95 / Windows98 / Windows2000 / Windows XP
- 17 inch display, 1024x768 resolution
- Windows applicable net

The amount of workstations vary according to the need and system’s functions. PC-workstations located at the shop floor are placed in protective cabinets. Network cabling is CAT5 cabling enabling 10Mbit/s or 100 Mbit/s.

Integrates material handling, tool management and other areas of the production system

Control is distributed to independent cells. The number and capacity of these cells can easily be expanded

Based on a standard network and PC work stations
